What is the recommended
dose for R&C™ Shampoo+Conditioner?
When using R&C™ Shampoo+Conditioner
we recommend a minimum 25 mL dose per application.
More R&C™ Shampoo+Conditioner will be
necessary if the infected person has shoulder
length or longer hair. To ensure the effectiveness
of the product the hair must be soaked with R&C™
Shampoo+Conditioner. Do not exceed 2 applications
within 24 hours. Please note it may take up to
24 hours for a single dose of R&C™ Shampoo+Conditioner
to kill the live lice.

application may be required 7-10 days after the
first application if you see live lice. Do not

Who can use R&C™

safe for use on children aged 2 and above with
no known sensitivity or allergies to permethrin,
chrysanthemums, synthetic pyrethroids or to ragweed
if used as directed. Consult a physician before
using the product on children under the age of
2 or if pregnant or nursing. There are no special
directions for use on the elderly. This product
should not be used on pets.

R&C™ Shampoo+Conditioner causes damage
to the nerve cells of the lice which paralyzes
them and eventually kills them. R&C™
Shampoo+Conditioner starts to work immediately
but it may take up to 24 hours before all lice
are killed.
Can R&C™
Shampoo+Conditioner be used on colour/dyed/permed
hair?
Before using R&C™ Shampoo+Conditioner
on dyed/colour treated or permed hair, it is recommended
that you test the product on a patch of hair first.
If there is no reaction, then the product can
be used as directed.

lice infestations and pubic hair to treat crab
lice infestations.

What are the
active ingredients in R&C™ Shampoo+Conditioner?
R&C™ Shampoo+Conditioner contains 0.33%
Pyrethrin (a naturally occurring insecticide extracted
from the flowers of the chrysanthemum plant),
and 3.0% Piperonyl Butoxide which prevents the
breakdown of pyrethrin and increases the length
of time in which the product is effective.
What are the differences between R&C™
Shampoo+Conditioner and R&C II Spray?
R&C™ Shampoo+Conditioner is designed
to be applied to hair and scalp to treat head
lice and pubic hair to treat crab lice infections.
R&C II Spray is an insecticide that should
be used to disinfect fabrics that cannot be washed
or dry-cleaned. R&C II Spray Insecticide is
NOT to be used on humans or pets.
How do I dispose
of the product/packaging?
To dispose of unused product dilute it with water
and pour it down the drain. To dispose of bottle
rinse well to remove all traces of product and
then recycle with your other household plastics.
Dispose of the carton in your cardboard/paper
recycling.
What should I
do if product accidentally comes in contact with
someone's eyes, mouth or nose?
If the product accidentally comes into contact
with someone's eyes, eyebrows, nose, or mouth
rinse well with plenty of water and pat dry with
a clean towel. In case of accidental swallowing
do NOT induce vomiting, consult the Poison Control
Centre and physician immediately and drink lots
of milk or water.
