How does
Nix® Dermal Cream work?
Nix® Dermal
Cream causes damage to the nerve
cells of the insects which paralyzes them
and eventually kills them. Some itching
may still persist for up to 2 weeks after
treatment. This is due to the eggs and
fecal pellets left behind by the mites
in your skin.
Where
can I use Nix® Dermal Cream?
Nix® Dermal Cream is designed to
treat the body which is infested with
scabies mites and their eggs. Nix®
Dermal Cream should be used on the entire
body from the head down to the soles
of the feet, paying particular attention
to the areas between the fingers and
toes, under the fingernails and toenails,
wrists, armpits, genital area and buttocks.
Should
I expect any side-effects when using
Nix® Dermal Cream?
During a scabies infestation, the skin
is often irritated resulting in abnormal
redness of the skin, swelling and itching.
These symptoms can become temporarily
worse following treatment, with the
itching possibly persisting for several
weeks after treatment. The itching will
gradually subside with the natural loss
of the upper layer of the skin.
