Kwellada-P Lotion and Nix Dermal Creme - Effective and Safe Treatment for Scabies

Please follow these instructions when using Kwellada-P™ Lotion for treating Scabies:

1. Before applying Kwellada-P™ Lotion ensure that the skin is clean, dry and cool. Do not take a hot bath before treatment.

2. Shake bottle well before use. Thoroughly massage a sufficient quantity of lotion into the skin to cover the entire area from the neck to the soles of the feet.

3. Pay particular attention to the areas between the fingers and toes, under the fingernails and toenails, wrists, armpits, genital area and buttocks. 12-14 hour treatment time. Can be used overnight.

4. Put on clean clothes.

5. Leave on for 12-14 hours. During the treatment period, if hands are washed, the lotion should be re-applied after washing.

6. Wash the entire body (shower or bath).

7. Change into clean clothes.

8. A second application may be given 7-10 days after the first treatment if live scabies mites are present or new skin lesions appear.

Use in children:
For children 2 years and up, use as directed above. For children less than 2 years of age, consult a doctor before use. Long sleeve shirts, pants, mittens, and socks should be worn on young children to prevent any contact of the treated skin with the mouth.

Use in pregnant women and nursing mothers:
If you are pregnant or are nursing, consult a physician before using
Kwellada-P™ Lotion or Nix® Dermal Cream.

Protect against re-infestation:
To prevent the infestation from spreading, follow these instructions carefully:

1. Wash all clothing, towels, bedding, etc., in very hot water and dry in the dryer by using the hot cycle for at least 20 minutes.

2. Dry clean blankets, jackets and other non-washables.

3. Mattresses which have been used by an infested person should not be used
for 48 hours.

4. Toilet seats, combs, etc., should be disinfected, being careful to rinse
thoroughly.

5. Check all household members and treat them if necessary.

Kwellada-P™ Lotion
Do not use if allergic to any of the components, to any synthetic pyrethroid or pyrethrin or chrysanthemums. Discontinue use if reaction occurs and consult physician. The most frequent adverse events reported were burning, stinging, and tingling (<1%), pruritus and erythema (0.02%).

Warning: For external use only. The product may irritate the eyes. In case of contact, immediately rinse with plenty of water. IF swallowed, contact a doctor or Poison Control Centre. Keep out of reach of children.
